The RET programme in Sierra Leone provided infrastructural support by way of the construction of a life skills centre, and training in pre-professional livelihoods for marketable careers such as carpentry and baking, that could be used in the local community and to create self-reliance in the ever expanding labour markets. This ensures that the youth who live in the camps are given improved educational and vocational opportunities that promote their social and economic inclusion into their host and home communities.
