FATOUMA, Niger – Fatouma’s life has been profoundly changing through RET’s educational support and opportunities created in her village in Niger. The program, supported by RET Germany and the German Federal Ministry for Foreign Cooperation and Development (BMZ), encourages girls’ education and rewards academic excellence. Fatouma’s dedication to her studies has earned her recognition and awards, motivating her further. Beyond academics, she participates in community initiatives addressing menstrual hygiene, early marriage, and gender-based violence. Her aspiration to become a nurse reflects her commitment to helping her community, inspired by RET’s impactful support.

PROPSER, Burundi – Prosper, a refugee from Burundi, has flourished in recent years through leadership training and educational opportunities provided under RET’s program. Fleeing conflict in 2015, Prosper found hope in RET’s programs, which helped him pursue his dream of becoming a community leader. Through RET’s support, he completed secondary education and now advocates for youth and refugee rights. His story showcases the transformative impact of RET’s initiatives, highlighting how education and leadership training can turn hardship into opportunity.

ESMA, Türkiye – Esma, a young girl from Türkiye, has taken part in English language courses provided by RET. Struggling with language barriers, Esma’s confidence and proficiency in English have grown significantly through RET’s support. This newfound skill has opened doors for her academic and personal development, highlighting RET’s commitment to empowering youth through education. Esma’s story exemplifies how access to education can transform lives and build brighter futures.
