Strengthening the Fight Against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse in Niger

NIAMEY, NIGER – On February 25, 2026, RET took part in a significant milestone in strengthening Niger’s national framework for the prevention of and response to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (SEA).
As an active member of the PSEA Network, RET joined United Nations agencies and international and national non-governmental organizations in formally signing the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) Network.
The ceremony was held under the high patronage of Professor Sidikou Ramatou Djermakoye Seyni, Minister of Population, Social Action and National Solidarity, and chaired by Mama Keita, United Nations Resident Coordinator in Niger.
